At Bright Angels Children’s Centre we bring the outside world into the children’s lives. Our programs provide a rich environment that promotes children’s active exploration in all areas of development: physical, emotional, linguistic, aesthetic, and cognitive. We go above and beyond the standards of other daycare centres. Our daycare was developed around the idea that quality child care and education should be home-like. It is important that children feel they are a welcome part of not only their own family unit, but also of their “extended families” (i.e. Friends, school, daycare, etc.) Today, a child’s family may take on many forms, all of which are of equal importance to the child. We believe that a daycare environment is a very important extension of you and your child’s family. As your child becomes involved in the daily routines they will see the connections that he/she makes at home and in a friendly and supporting daycare environment.

A flexible daily program will respond to the needs and interests of the children, individually, and in group settings. By encouraging children to learn and develop at their own level they will gain the confidence of self-importance. Give them guidance and understanding and they will have the opportunity to explore their world in a safe and controlled environment. On the flip side parental education is important in the same time, and we encourage parents to ask questions regarding their child’s activity, nutrition, growth and development.

We know that the needs of children are constantly changing and developing and having flexible programs is crucial that’s why we always aim to provide a nurturing environment where children can grow and develop physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. A positive and happy staff, a trusting relationship between caregiver and the child, clean and well-organized environment, room to play – indoors and outside, in a safe and stimulating home like environment, will only reinforce our methodology and seriousness on how important all this really is for the children, who learn a lot from what they are surrounded with and develop their understanding on life and how things work.

Each child is an individual and at Bright Angels Children’s Centre we treat them as such. They come to us in all shapes and sizes and at all stages of development. We will guide them through these stages and help them build upon it.
